Trust.
'Trust is like glass.' A close friend of mine said this yesterday. His statement lingered in my mind.
Trust is like glass, because it allows you to be completely transparent with the other person.
Trust is like glass, because like glass, trust is built upon the small ordinary things in life when either party or both parties are able to endure the heat.
Trust is like glass, because all it takes is just enough force applied on one tiny point on the surface, and it shatters into many pieces.
Trust is like glass, because once it breaks, you can piece it back together, but it'll never be the same again.
I trusted you more than i trusted anyone else.
I trusted you with my heart.
You broke the glass.
And so, now my heart hurts.
